She was predeceased by: her father Deward Woodrow Adkins; her son Jeremy Blevins; her sister Cathy Blevins; and her grandchildren, Hayden Connor Purcell, Austin and Cheyanne Burton.

She is survived by: her mother Janice Sue Adkins Jarrard (Shearer) of Lafayette; her husband Richard L. Trent; her children, Tommie CJ Purcell III of Williamsport, Joshua D. Purcell (Crystal Lynn Lathrop) of Williamsport and Melissa Blevins of Lafayette; her stepsons, Richard L. Trent, III, Zachary J. Trent of Lafayette and Jesse M. Trent (Amanda) of Carmel; and her sister Tari Wilson (Paul) of Lafayette. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
