He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Miller and Helen Miller; and his son Jared Miller. He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Miller and Amber Miller (Swearingen); his sister Glenda Klaiber; his grandchildren, Cody Jacobs (Whitney), Lorren Jacobs, Gracie Adsit and Kaleb Adsit; and his great grandchild Colton Jacobs.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tippecanoe County Humane Society in Phillip's honor.
