She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Jean Gregory; and her siblings, Marie Jackson, Karl and Derrick Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Tyrus Veals (Jacque) of Lafayette and Tilden Warpower of Japan; her siblings, Sandy Jackson, Dewayne Jackson, Andrew Gregory, William Jackson, Andre Jackson, Kevin Jackson and Kim Jackson; her grandchild Melinyanna Cuevas; and her pet Romey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (2925 S 18th St, Lafayette, IN 47905). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Fern Oaks Cemetery.
