He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Leroy and Frances "Ruth" Phillippo (Leonard); his wife Barbara June Bell; his son Tim Michael Phillippo; and his siblings, Elmer Phillippo, Louis Earl Phillippo, John Lane Phillippo, Mary Frances Phillippo, Robert Gene Phillippo and Kent Leonard Phillippo.

He is survived by: his children, Mark E. Phillippo Sr. (Daye) of Attica and Debra "Deb" Pettry (Rick) of Lafayette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

“So so very sorry for your loss! I will greatly miss him! He was a great friend and enjoyed every minute I spent with him. We usually went to lunch on a weekly basis.
