He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Spear and Mona Spear (Simmons). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jones; his children, Jason Spear (Stephanie) and Tanya Harmon (Matt) of Lafayette; his siblings, Dale Spear (Marsha) of Lafayette, Donna Bolyard (Tim) of Mancos, CO and Gail Jenkins (Jeff) of Buck Creek; and his grandchildren, Emma, Miles Spear, Jaxton and Jaydelynn Harmon.
Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
