It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Lynn Sweet of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Crider and Mary Crider; and her granddaughter Sophie Elizabeth Sweet. She is survived by: her son Jonathan Alan Sweet (Brianna) of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Jordan (Bridget), Drew, Waylon Sweet, Marcos, Alexis Salinas, Anais Sweet, William and Everleigh Sweet; her daughter Elizabeth Sweet Telez; and her great grandchildren, Mia Sweet and Jerry Sweet. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041).
