He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chezem and Hester Mae Cochran Chezem; and his siblings, Rita Mae Chezem and James Chezem. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ross Chezem; his children, Erica Chezem of Lafayette and Shane Chezem (Beth) of Veedersburg; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Issac, Zachary, Nathan, Lauren and Hannah.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memory Garden Cemetery (503 Rockville Rd, Rockville, IN 47872).
Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to the Veterans Memorial Park at the Byron Cox American Legion post, 101 Walter Remley Drive, Crawfordsville, IN 47933 in his memory.
