He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Elizabeth Jane Brittain (Crum); his son Joshua Edward Underhill Brittain; and his siblings, Linda Henson, Pat and Jeffery Brittain.

He is survived by: his daughter Amber Jane "AJ" Brittain of Lakewood, WA; and his siblings, Michael Leroy Brittain of Frankfort and Connie Watson (Jack) of Frankfort. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren.
