He was predeceased by: his father Frank Morrison; his wife Mary Anne Hanthorn; and his sister Donna O'Connor. He is survived by: his children, Robert Morrison Jr. (Marilyn), Diana Vice (Rick) and James Morrison (Cricket); and his brothers, Charles Morrison of Panama City, FL and John Morrison of Lafayette. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
