It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Koning of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lora E. Raisor (Betty) and Henry J. Koning; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Alicia Schilling; and his brother-in-law James R. Schilling (late Janet).
He is survived by: his children, Brian Koning (Doreen) and Alicia Sendmeyer (Scott); his grandchildren, Kaitlin (Koning), Stalnaker (Andrew), Karli Stoller (Johann), Kyler Koning, Paige Sendmeyer and Alex Sendmeyer; his great grandchild Mila Rae Stalnaker; his brother John Koning (Jack); his extended family, Charles Williams (Nancy) and Rita Erlenbach (Dick); and his former wife DeEtta Koning (Schilling). He is also survived by his children and family.
