With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert B. Mahrling Jr. of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mahrling Sr. (Alma) and Dorothy Merritt (Ping); and his siblings, Rena Bentlage, Mike, Baryon and Clifford (Mahrling).
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Mahrling Sr. of Palm Bay, Roger Mahrling of Remington and Christine Mitchell (Kevin) of Dayton, Indiana.; his siblings, Denise Kilmer (Ralph), Lynn Hoffman (Steve), Richard Mahrling (Krissy) and Hugh Mahrling; his sisters-in-law, Lou Fiddler, Joy Meade and Vicki Mahrling; and his grandchildren, Ronald Mahrling Jr. (Amanda), Rebecca Eaton (Bruce), Amber Navarro (Christopher) and Robynn Mahrling.
