He is survived by: his sister Joyce Worthington (Don) of Fort Collins, Colorado; his brother-in-law Tonie Snyder of Reynolds; his nephew Rob Poindexter of Indianapolis; his nieces, Lisa Harvey of West Lafayette and Pam Cochran of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Korine Poindexter of Indianapolis, Logan Poindexter of Carmel, Drew Harvey (Michelle) of Whitestown and Dr. Zoe Cochran Chasnick (Brett); his nieces and nephews, Gary Poindexter (Kathy), Brian Poindexter (Vidaliza), Roger Poindexter (Tammy), Kris Poindexter-McHahn (Susan), Steve Poindexter (Angela), Jim Poindexter, Donna Porter (Dave), Dennis Rausch (Beatrix), Cheryl Jacobs, Kevin Rausch (Tammy), Todd Snyder (Michelle) and Kirk Snyder (Jill); his parents-in-law, Harry (Babe) and Isabelle Hardebeck Bessler; his siblings, James, Richard, Tim Poindexter and Carolyn Burrell; his siblings-in-law, Lorena Poindexter, Carolyn Snyder and Don Burrell; and his niece Angela Snyder Williams.
