He is survived by: his wife Sheila Vandergraff (Pitts); his children, Lindsey, Justin and Nathan Vandergraff; his stepsons, Waylon Werner-Bassen (Bradley Bassen) and Andrew Werner (Tricia (English) Werner); his grandchildren, Hailey McDonald, Hudson, Lincoln, Jackson, Arie, Raina Vandergraff, Watson Werner-Bassen, Gaven, Lilli, Lucas and Cylar Werner; and his pets, Rosie, Bebe and Kiwi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
