He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Reece and Stella Reece (Whitaker); and his spouse Gayle Michael. He is survived by: his children, Janelle Hegg (Shane) of Fowler and Jack Reece (Nichole Runkle) of Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Ian Hegg, Olivia Schieler (Caddin), Elijah Hegg (Emma) and Cody Reece (Brianna). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
