He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Scott; and his wife Phyllis Scott (Burns). He is survived by: his children, Tim Scott (Peg) of Lafayette, Sara Rasmuson (Jeff) of Lafayette, Rachel Scott of Indianapolis, Melissa Elijah (John) of Tomball, TX and Elizabeth Benson (Bruce) of Lumberton, TX; his siblings, Charlene Mingst of Dodgeville, WI and Daniel Scott (Barb) of Stevens Point, WI; his grandchildren, John Jr. Elijah (Sarah), Ian Elijah, Quinton Elijah (Morgan), Nathan Benson (Shelby) and Emma Benson (Sam); his great grandchildren, Liam, Millie and Quinn; and his daughter Marsha Geier (Staley).
