She was predeceased by: her father Vincent Edward Schrader. She is survived by: her significant other Jon Zieber; her sons, Ryan Moffitt (Maribeth) and Kyle Moffitt; her mother Kay Schrader (Smith); her siblings, Kitti Tucker (Steve), Jill Lucas (David), Eva Jacobson (Kelly), Jeanne Arozqueta (Adrian), Paula Adduci and Wil Schrader; and her nieces and nephews, Sydney Bennington (Timothy), Ariel Jacobson, Sydney Adduci, Josh Lucas (Makayla), Peyton Britton, Luka, Ashton Arozqueta and Baxter.

Memorial contributions in Edie's name may be given to Natalie's Second Chance No Kill Dog Shelter.

“I first met Edie as a graduate student at Zucrow in 2016 and reconnected with her in 2022 when she was working in the College of Liberal Arts. I enjoyed working with her because she was so positive and would always follow up to make sure that we were taken care of. One time, she gave me a very nice compliment that I didn't expect that made my day. In her emails, she would say things like "You’re the best", "Thanks so much!!", and she would often use smile emojis. I send my condolences-M.M.”
