She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Draper and Helen Draper (Woods); her husband Joseph L. Carter; her son Joseph Carter; and her granddaughter Brandy Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Misty Carter-Hillyer (Tony) of Clarks Hill and Glenda Carter (Dave) of Mulberry; her siblings, Elana Steckler of Lafayette and Michael Draper (Amber) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Samantha Phebus, Michelle Carter, Haley Miller, Brooke Peterson (Hayden) and Blake Hillyer (Brittaney); and her great grandchildren, Kayda, Payton, Madden, Gattlin, Harlan, Waylon, Denton, Joseph and Bernice.
