He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Sherman and Juanita Lamb; and his son Barry Hankins. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Tibbett of Lafayette; his children, William Douglas, George Hankins and Linda Bolander; his siblings, Jim Lamb, Junior Lamb, Gary Lamb and Pam Lamb; and his grandchildren, Brittany Douglas, Brady Douglas, Stephanie Bolander, Eric Bollander, Krystal Bolander and Amy Butz.
