She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambert Jansen and Lillian Jansen (Korty); her children, James Hayes and Jane Gilbert; and her grandson Scott Rhatigan.
She is survived by: her children, Eileen Ratner (Jerald) of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael Hayes (Theresa), Alisa Pate (Mike Snellenbarger) and Daniel Hayes (Christine Brady); her brother Francis Jansen of Lafayette; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Hayes (late James Hayes).
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1916 Meharry St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A Mass was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
