She was predeceased by: her daughter Lena Sanderson Nelson of Rochester, NY; her parents, Floyd O. Slate and Margaret Maglie Slate of Ithaca, NY; her sister Sandra Slate Miller of Newfield, NY; and her niece Denise VanAmburg.
She is survived by: her close friend Tom McEnteer of Owego, NY; her son Ronald Sanderson (Linda) of Straits Corners, NY; her son-in-law Richard Nelson of Rochester, NY; her grandchildren, Joshua Nelson of London, England and Amanda Nelson Vanname of Leroy, NY; her great grandchildren, Hayle and Michael; her granddaughter Rachel Sanderson Pfister (Erick) of Orlando, FL; her great grandchild Melody; her grandchildren, Matthew Sanderson (Mindy) of Kernersville and N. Carolina; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Zaden and Pamela; her grandchildren, Ronni Sanderson of Ithaca, NY and Amber Morehouse of Waverly, NY.; her brother Rex O. Slate (Maggie) of Bulgaria; her sibling's children, Joshua, Rocky, Christie and Mark Miller (Alicia) of Clinton, PA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily, Bretton, Brian VanAmburg (Megan) of Tennessee and Jessica VanAmburg of Hermitage, Tenn.; and her husband Tom.
