He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Plaspohl; his sons, Jack and Henry Dunning; his mother Angela Lewis; his siblings, Brad Dunning and Brooke Brewer; his grandparents, Betty of Terre Haute and Jack Lewis of Terre Haute; his parents-in-law, Jeff and Sharla Plaspohl; his sisters-in-law, Lilly Capecci (Ryan) of Lafayette and Abby Livingston (Brian) of Lafayette; and his siblings' children, Tarah Clayton, Brandon Barnett, John, Eli Capecci, Maddie, Charli and Izzy Livingston.
