It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Brown of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley J. Brown to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Burton and Lola Burton (McDaniel); her sisters, Kathy Sarault (Tom "Peno") and Hazine; her brother-in-law Denzil Daulton; her siblings, Beatrice Tyler and Dwain Burton; her brothers-in-law, Larry Brown and James Felix; and her nephews, Terry, Brian and Dwight Daulton.

She is survived by: her husband John Brown; her brother Larry Burton; and her brother-in-law Albert Tyler.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to Boswell Cemetery.
