He is survived by: his mother Marlene Russell (Brummett) of Mulberry; his wife Laura Ann Washington of Lafayette; his sons, Joby Paul Russell (Misty) of Lafayette and Charles Lee Russell of Lafayette; his father George Russell; his grandchildren, Landen Russell (Kayla) of Lafayette, Kaiden Russell (Josie) of West Lafayette, Carmen Simpson of Lafayette, Finlee Russell of Lafayette and Maelynn Russell of Lafayette; and his brother Douglas Allen Russell (Rose) of Lafayette. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson Cemetery (7153 E 800 S, Lafayette, IN 47909).
