Susan Hockenberry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, at the age of 81, Susan Hockenberry of Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Swanson and Phylis Swanson; and her brother Kerry. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hockenberry; her daughter Carrie Gerlach (Lance); her grandchildren, Brycen and Teagan; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hockenberry, Linda Hockenberry and Cheryl Maphies.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Heartbeats of Licking County, in Susan's memory.
