Teresa Knowles Obituary

The memory of Teresa Knowles (Lafayette, Indiana), born in Salem, Oregon, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Scharer (Don) and Penelope Scharer (Penny); and her son Daniel Knowles. She is survived by: her spouse Hallie "Butch" Knowles; her children, Tara Sprowl of West Lafayette, Jon Karberg (Paige) of Colburn, Christopher Knowles (Teresa) of Oxford, Steve Knowles (Carmen) of Oxford and Benjamin Knowles (Sheri) of Terre Haute; and her brothers, Randy Scharer (Sally) of Lafayette, Mark Scharer (Jill) of West Lafayette and Jim Scharer of West Lafayette. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
