He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Viola Smith (Richardson); his son Terry L. Smith Jr.; his daughter-in-law Deanna Smith; his granddaughter Tamara Dawn Smith; and his brothers, Larry Smith and Jerry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Smith; his children, Debra Smith (Kevin Horn) of Lafayette, Tammy Gick (Doug) of Otterbein, Tina Love (Cliff) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Christi Smallidge of Lafayette, Bob K. Barker (Lavonya) of Indianapolis and Jami Morris (Rick) of Lafayette; and his sister-in-law Anna Smith. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
