He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Bender and Eleanor Bender (Close); and his brother Glenn Bender. He is survived by: his daughter Mikayla Bender; his sister Tracey Bender; his granddaughter Riley Rockwood; his sibling's children, Megan Trevelyan, Amanda Thompson and Stephen Bender; and his great-niece Arwen Trevelyan.
