With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet M. Brown of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde F. Auter and Lucy Auter (Barwick); her spouse G. W. Brown (Bill); her son Steven; and her daughter-in-law Wesleyan (Dolly).
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Brooks (Jim); her grandchildren, Emily Skiles (Neil) and Tyler Brooks (Frances); her great grandchildren, Hayden and Aria Skiles; and her sisters, Verna Bartlett of Muncie, IN, Viola Hodge and Betty J. Overly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Violet's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
