She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shoemaker and Dorothy Shoemaker (Cook); and her husband Orville Franklin Adkins. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Adkins of Monticello and David Adkins of Lafayette; and her sister Carol Coons (Richard) of Dayton. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
