With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William C Hockema of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Henry Hockema. He is survived by: his wife Mary Dunnewold; his children, Cheri Vander Waal (Robert) of Lafayette, Mike Hockema (Iris) of Plano, TX, Jill Morris (Greg) of Lafayette and Steve Hockema (Deanna) of Columbia City; his brothers, Charles Hockema of Lafayette and LeRoy Hockema of Camano Island, WA; his grandchildren, Joseph Vander Waal, Emily Adams, Nathan Vander Waal, Bethany Gray, Johnatan Esquivel, Alyssa Hockema, Scott Hockema, Ethan Nei, Bianca Nei, Luke Morris and Sam Morris; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Adams, Bentley Adams, Oliver Adams and Elijah Gray.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to Lafayette Christian Reformed Church or Lafayette Christian School.
