She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Wansitler and Grace Wansitler (Depew); her former life partner John Thomas Grobis; her husband Preceding; her son Thomas Michael Grobis; and her sisters, Marilyn Morr and Carol Combs.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Eash (Steve) of Madisonville, TN, Janet Freeman (George) of Wolcottville, IN, John Grobis (Linda) of LaGrange, IN, James Grobis (Susan) of LaGrange, IN and Paul Grobis (Vicki) of Stroh, IN; her daughter-in-law Victoria Grobis of Avilla, IN; and her sister Wilma Summey of Portage, MI.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
