He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William "Bill" Sawyer and Jean Sawyer; and his brother Rodney Sawyer. He is survived by: his sister Naomi (Trinity Adamski).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Woodruff Cemetery (E 435 S, Wolcottville, IN 46795).
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations addressed to the activities department at The Waters of Lagrange long-term care facility would be a wonderful way to honor David's memory.
