It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon J. Sumpter of Lagrange, Indiana, born in Etna Green, Indiana, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Sumpter and Lizzie Ann Sumpter (Mast); his daughter-in-law Arlene Sumpter; his stepgranddaughter Mindy Rueckert; and his siblings, Dorothy Schumucker, Annabelle Yoder and Homer Huffman.
