He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Pierson and Mary Jean Pierson (Grate); and his brother Garry P. Pierson. He is survived by: his brother Gregory P. Pierson (Marsha) of Valparaiso, IN; and his nephews, Chad Gust, Jordan Pierson (Marika) and Brandon Pierson (Sonja).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Frurip-May Funeral Home (309 W Michigan St, LaGrange, IN 46761). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a meaningful tribute in Gaylord's honor: go out to breakfast and buy someone's meal—just as he so often enjoyed doing himself.
