Janet, born on March 15, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin H. Brandt and Alma Brandt (Vogelgesong); and her husband Wayne Eagleson. She is survived by: her children, Karen Griffith (Robert) of Chillicothe, Illinois, Mark Eagleson of LaGrange and Dean Eagleson (Karen) of LaGrange; and her brother Tom Brandt (Carol) of Ossian, Indiana.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church (797 N Detroit St, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the East Springfield Cemetery (10480 E U. S. 20, LaGrange, IN 46761).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Janet's memory to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church or the LaGrange County Food & Clothes Basket.
