We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2023, at the age of 81, Judy Shafer of Lagrange, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence D. "Buck" and Mary J. Witham (Myers); her son Jimmy Joe Burkhead; and her brother Harry Dale Witham. She is survived by : her children, Julie Gadson of Sturgis, MI, Keith Shafer (Joan) of Orland, IN, Vicki Weaver (Tim) of Howe, IN, Glen Shafer (Sharon) of New Palestine, IN and Joan Sivits (Dennis) of Shipshewana, IN; and her sisters, Penny Fulford of Sturgis, MI and Ruth Tucker of Rome City, IN.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
