It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Freed of Lagrange, Indiana, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur J. Dunafin and Wilma M. Dunafin (Coney); her husband Donald D. Freed; her son Jimmy DeWayne Freed; her grandsons, Daniel Notestine and Thomas J. "Wheelz" Freed; and her sisters, Bonnie Flath, Donna Belle Northup and Judy Northup.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Notestine (Stanley) of LaGrange and Timothy Freed (Kim) of LaGrange; her granddaughter Sarah Zook (Travis) of Wolcottville; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Spencer and Allyson Zook; and her brother Jerry Dunafin (Emily) of LaGrange.
Memorials may be directed to East Springfield United Methodist Church.
