He was predeceased by: his parents, Luella Oakley (Danielson) and Johnson Oakley Sr.; and his sibling Billie Joe. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Oakley (Lois), Fred Oakley (Penny) and Annie Green (Rick). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the LaGrange Church of Christ (407 S Townline Rd, LaGrange, IN 46761).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
