He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thomas and Julia Mae Thomas; his wife Mona Thomas; his son Tim Thomas; his siblings, R. T. Thomas, Bob Thomas, Linda McPeak and Shirley Dunbar; and his grandson Jonathon.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Thomas (Ruby) of Lake Station, IN and Melinda Marlow (Dwayne) of Lake Station, IN; his brothers, Chuck Thomas (Birdie) of Portage, IN and Randy Thomas of Valparaiso, IN; his grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle, Sunshine and TJ; and his great grandchildren, Amari and Aya.
