He is survived by: his father Charles Murphy; his wife Karen Acres; his sons, Sean Patrick Murphy of Valparaiso and Seamus Michael Murphy of Valparaiso; his grandson Connor Patrick Murphy; his brothers, Charles Murphy (Dawn) and John Murphy; and his pet Daphne.
