He was predeceased by : the mother of his children Kathleen M.; and his parents, Hank and Louise. He is survived by : his sons, Stephen Jr. (Kathleen) and Michael; his grandchildren, Stephen, Ashley, Michael, Joseph and Selena; and his sister Paula.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Newton County Animal Shelter, Stephen was an avid animal lover, especially his rescue cats.
