She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlin Lieber and Theodora Schoen Lieber Ovington; her husband Eugene E. Bays; and her siblings, Dennis Lieber and Wilma Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery N. Bays (Sharon), Philip D. Bays (Penny), Gregory G. Bays (Stacy), Kathleen E. Pate (Phillip) and Gayle D. Wernert (Mark); and her sister Elaine Rogers (Mike). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 2 great great granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1507 St Johns Church Rd NE, Lanesville, IN 47136).
