We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 72, Melinda Sue Baker of Lanesville, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Montgomery and Pearl McKim Montgomery; and her siblings, Carl Montgomery, Forest Montgomery and Tami Shelton.

She is survived by : her husband Steve Baker; her children, Shawn Amburgey (Stacy) of Lancaster, KY and Shannon Seifried (Greg) of Jeffersonville, IN; her sister Becky Montgomery of Borden, IN; her grandchildren, Caitlin Amburgey, Kyndall Amburgey, Emma Seifried, Connor Seifried and Paige Seifried; and her great grandchildren, Isleigh Amburgey, Layne Trent and Mylo Cobb.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Life Celebration Service (505 Pfrimmers Chapel Rd NE, Corydon, IN 47112).
