It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie L Smith of Lapaz, Indiana, born in Walkerton, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father John Henry; and her siblings, Cloyd Newland, Fred Newland (Mary) and Georgia Cripe (Charles "Bob"). She is survived by : her daughter Lennie Mead (Bruce Sr.) of Millville, NJ; her grandchildren, Bruce Meade Jr. of Thorofare, NJ and Jeri Lynn Mead of Carney's Point, NJ; and her sister-in-law Carole Newland of Valparaiso. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests. Memorial Contributions be made to the Walkerton United Methodist Church.
