He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hale and Winnie Hale (Lovett); his former wife Jane Hale; and his brother Lamonte Hale. He is survived by: his wife Edith Jane (Street Christian Church); his children, Jay Hale (Halline) of Oviedo, FL and Merilee Bluel (Michael) of Pendleton, IN; his grandchildren, Conner Hale, William Bluel, Faith Bluel and Katey Bluel; his nephew Randy Hale; and his niece Bridget Hale Hawley.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery (6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd).
