Carolyn L. Wilson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn L. Wilson of Lapel, Indiana, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Volney Barnett and Emma Marie Rich (Green); her husband Robert Lee "Bob" Wilson; and her siblings, Garland Dean Rich, Volney Rex Rich, Emma Jean Whetsel and Vera Belle Cook.
She is survived by: her son Steve Wilson (Pam); her grandchildren, Brett, Kelly and Felicia; her son Mike Wilson (Judy); her grandchildren, R. J., Monica, Andrew, Alexis and Destiny; her daughter Angie Howell (Jimmie); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Courtney and J. R.; her daughter Lisa Johnson (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Stacy and Todd. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Book Hotel Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel (1010 Main St., Lapel, Indiana 46051). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel (1010 Main St., Lapel, Indiana 46051).
