It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric J. McConnell (Lapel, Indiana), born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Emily McConnell (Holcomb); his children, Wyatt Dwiggins, Emery McConnell and Pepper McConnell; his parents, Eric Charles and Donna McConnell (Tyson); his sister Laura McConnell; his in-law Scott Holcomb (Mardy); his sister Alaina Stephens (Nathan); and his niece Hadley Stephens.

Memorial contributions in Eric's name may be gifted to the funeral home for the family to establish a memorial scholarship for Eric's three children, Wyatt, Emery, and Pepper.
