The passing of Marjorie A. Neufeld (Lapel, Indiana) occurred on October 5, 2026. Marjorie, born on October 26, 1930, is remembered by those who knew her. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Banman and Frieda Banman (Schmidt); her husband Edwin E. Neufeld; her sisters, Lela Trewett, Joan Wiebe and Elaine Schrag; and her parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Neufeld (Fehdrau).
She is survived by: her children, Ron Neufeld (Jyl) of Nashville, TN, Jan Lehman (David), Martha Penner (Todd) of Goshen, IN and Patty Sprunger (Dean) of Syracuse, IN.; and her brother-in-law Tom Schrag. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Silverwood Mennonite Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to MCC, Akron, PA or to the church.
