With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Scott Loehndorf (Lapel, Indiana), who passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Loehndorf and Marian Loehndorf (Longley); and his wife Frankie Loehndorf (Grider). He is survived by: his children, Amy Eades (Ben) and Scott Loehndorf; his siblings, Steve Loehndorf (Teresa), Gary Loehndorf (Silvana), Kris Hazelton (Gary) and Tracy Fessler (Jon); and his grandchildren, Emma, Taya and Matthias. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
