It is with sadness that the passing of Nancy Grace Humphrey of Lapel, Indiana is shared. Nancy, born on November 26, 1959, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Whitehead and Eleanor Whitehead (Cayton); her siblings, Raye Whitehead and Mary Hodge; her daughter Ashley Humphrey; her nephew Wade Whitehead; and her close friends, Steven DeGroot, Nancy Thomas and Rosemary Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Edgell II (Cathie), Jaclyn Edgell (Marty Hall) and Aaron Humphrey (Jessica); her grandchildren, Britney Flowers, Zachary Edgell (Allie), Riley Keesling (Maria) and Logan Humphrey; her great grandchildren, Eli Edgell, Navi Edgell, Theo Edgell and Riley Keesling Jr.; her siblings, Liz Dorsey, Theresa Price (Denny), Mike Whitehead (Charlene), Tom Whitehead, Joe Whitehead (Kathy), Richard Whitehead (Donna) and Ralph Whitehead (Linda); her brother-in-law Floyd Hodge; her close friend Sharon McElfresh; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services- Daleville (8212 S Walnut St, Daleville, IN 47334). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
